Resulting to insults at not logic. Gotcha. I debunked that post already

You debunked nothing. Saying nique, robinson, Shaq, Malone were washed during jordan era is beyond dumb.

Tough not to resort to insults when you can’t even put your reply in a proper sentence.

nah fam.

you kobetards aren't gonna come with revisionist history

his run was a short 3 years but he was great during that run

I never understood this....60 wasn't on Kobe lol. I just rewatched the video and counted around 25 points including FT when Kobe was actually guarding him

Gil was going off regardless though

2 mins and 30 seconds of Rod Strickland “schooling” Jordan (and some of the video shows replays). Meanwhile, you can probably find a 10 hour highlight video of Jordan schooling EVERYBODY.
I mean some people never schooled MJ nevertheless there was talent out there maybe not on MJ level but still elite talent

Did you see me address athleticism gap anywhere? No. You just invalidated your whole post by debating something I didn't even mention

Your post was invalid from the beginning because Gil clearly defined athleticism as part of skill. So you shouldve addressed the video:mjlol:

People do realize in basketball that its not skill vs skill anyway right? Its skill vs defense,as theres only one basketball on the floor at a time. So it doesnt matter if nobody but Jordan was skilled in his era(false). Was he going against tougher defense or not:mjlol:

My point is that if their career’s spanned across 10 seasons, and the most he has is about 5-6 plays where he “did” Jordan, that’s nothing. Point guards don’t get clamped up by SGs, especially those like Rod Strickland who had ELITE ball handling skills. And yes I know Rod Strickland was cold. One of the best players who never was an all star.

If bean was as good a defender as all his undeserved defensive accolades it shouldn't have happened :troll:

He got better with going left later on in his career, but he was never really proficient with it.

Take this for example -

22:40sec

MJ ends up getting a switch on Divac on the left side of the floor, and Divac plays right up into the path so MJ can only go left, and if you know Divac, the muh'fukka can't defend on the perimeter to save his life, so MJ quickly motions for a clear-out. But instead of MJ using his left hand to drive, pulling Divac hard to that side, so then he can go right, he keeps using his right hand and gets caught in an awkward position, and then aimlessly tries to crossover Divac, and dribbles the ball right off Divac's leg. It's not as if Divac did anything remarkable, defensively, it's just a result of MJ not being competent with his left hand.

MJ wasn't alone in this though.

You can see all throughout this Finals game that whenever Magic comes down the floor, he's dribbling the air out of the ball with his right hand, every single time. Every time he comes down the floor, he begins to set into the high post at the exact same angle of facing to the right side because he couldn't dribble with his left. There are a few times where he has no choice but to go left, but it's such an unnatural action for him that it either resorts in a turnover or he throws an errant pass.

As great as they were for that period in time, man, you can really see the difference in skill when you compare it to the last 5-10 years.

A lot of folks get upset when you point this out, but it's just the natural progression of the game.

The Bulls grinded to the top, they got closer and closer in the late 80s then broke through in 1991. MJ lost to the Pistons 3 years in a row but kept getting better, no quitting, no teaming up with other superstars.

Where is the mythology?

My nikka THAT’S THE MYTHOLOGY :wow:

MJ & The Bulls story is The American Dream

Start from the bottom & improve yourself plus team as a whole. If it’s meant to be eventually you get to the mountain top.

Bron stans get burned everytime they bring up The Pistons because Jordan had the fortitude to keep it pushing and their man decided he couldn’t get it done and left for an ideal situation

If The Pistons suddenly got old wouldn’t The Celtics have gotten old no differently? :gladbron:

If Jordan & The Bulls were so overwhelmingly talented why wasn’t it a forgone conclusion they’d eventually win?

“Air Jordan & The Jordanaires” they said

:banderas::banderas:
