Tough fight to call, Canelo has the punches and skill to outpoint GGG but he has to hurt him. GGG will keep on coming and if your stamina starts to fail he will smell blood and take you out. Right now I am going to say GGG based off his pressure and Canelo not being a high output fighter but GGG is always there to be hit as his head movement is terrible.

Breadman's analysis is along the lines of what I had been thinking. Canelo is quicker and seems to win close rounds by judges, so I expect if it goes 12 to favor Canelo. For GGG to win a decision I think he will need to secure a KD to get the extra point and put in the judges mind he is doing more damage I stead of giving Canelo close rounds. If the fight ends in a KO, I think GGG has to be the favorite for it to be him who gets the KO.

Yeah, Compubox :mjlol:

Idc about boxing statistics cause they are not as trustworthy as let's say team sports' statistics. Boxing is behind in time in this department. You have one person who counts every exchanges by the way he sees it. You don't know about this man's bias, preferences, etc... but you still take his "stats" seriously. Hell, we don't even know who the fukk counts it... :gucci: They know that nobody gonna start check them anyway... I can't wrap my head around serious boxing sites and journalists keep posting compubox as it would be some gospel. :why:
GGG used to have slightly better defense but partly due to his style he is always there to hit. Last day I defended him but now let's not get overboard. everyone in the boxing words know that he hasn't got a good defense and a copy pasted mini statistic from a guy I don't even know who the fukk is won't convince me or anybody else otherwise.
If anything Golovkin has +xy punchstat cause his opponents were mostly surviving and scared to throw up until his last 2 fights not because he would have a good defense. He does not have a good defense.

It's all we got. :mjcry:

But seriously ggg defense is underrated, u would think he's Provo(i forget his name).. If he's defense was that bad or just bad in general he would have been hurt/kod along time ago due to being in there with big punchers. Yes he's been hit by them but not much really, he spacing is great and he slips alot of punches.

He isn't reckless and he is skilled offensively which makes him harder to counter than the likes of Provodnikov and he also has nice feints which keeps opponents guessing. As far as head and body movement goes though he is slow and there to be hit. It's really his offense which functions as his defense.

Can't wait until Canelo gets him the fukk out of here in a close decision and doesn't look back just like they did Jacobs.

Then goes on a celebration tour fighting all these guys you called "great middleweights" all of a sudden not be so great
