First off: Few would argue that Golovkin is not the bigger puncher, the ones who place their bets on Canelo do that based on other things.

Secondly: They do a different type of exercise with different type and size of targets.

Yup. Canelo will be too fast and too smart for him. The handspeed/upperbody movement difference here is huuuugggee, footspeed if probably comparable but aside from power I don't see any advantages here for ggg. His jab is good but slow and we've seen Canelo slip/take away Cotto's jab who I would rank over ggg's.


I don't even think the pace stuff will be a problem anymore this nikka was standing in between rounds while bashing Chavez Jr head in. I don't see that being a problem for him anymore now that he is officially at 160.

All he needs is the flattop
