Yeah, but what can you do? These politicians are trying to race against the second phase of the economic crisis (supposedly a number of bankruptcies are on the horizon), avoid having to pay some of the UEI claims and get some tax revenue.
This would be a good time to counterprotest (properly distanced of course) the astroturfing campaigns if there is enough opposition to the easing of restrictions. Those who truly oppose these actions are going to have to do more than post death counts and say "I told you so" on some internet forum. This may be one time where some form of positive action can result if for nothing else than the optics of combating the Coronavirus.
One way or the other I'm still going to be out here. I'm mentally ready for whatever scenarios may occur. But those who really feel strongly opposed should speak up.
