I'm getting conflicting arguments here. Both self serving. The dems were stupid for even trying to win a decades old republican district. Also if they went further left AKA if Bernie was there, they would have won a decades old republican district.

that was a democratic primary for bernie, not a state wide election. and dingell represented districts that were typically D+13 and above.
now when it's a statewide election free for all, you can see the results in the list of michigan elected officials.
and the same people gloating about republican victories in here are going to have the "
democrats" face when they see people like manchin with a D next to their name. you just need more people blessed by bernie to win these races and have Ds next to their names. that's what these conservatives have been waiting for and the democrats have been denying them that apparently. only these twittiots know how it is on the ground.

It is very, very easy to defeat donald trump. His platform was immigration control, ending stupid wars and trade reform. 2 of 3 issues should be a democrat's nirvana. You have to try though, and right now we're not seeing that.
