Hmmmm. I gotta give the man his props tho. Ep 1 was the only one that is below average. The other 5 movies are decent to excellent, so that's not a bad haul.

Dissin Lucas' contribution to this SW shyt is like dissin the old school rappers. I am torn on the question of whether his ideas deserve play in 7,8,9 but back to the earlier point: he coulda kept the company.

LOL. Indy 4 wasn't even bad the problem was it was following up 3 Classics. The only wack part was nuke the fridge which Steven said was his fault. And the part with Shoa swinging on trees was chessy. The rest was vintage Indy.

I like JJ but this is true. The 1st Star Trek was a "Star Wars" Rehash. This is one of the reasons they were happy with JJ, he made Trek more like Star Wars and the box office went up.



Yes he drew from many different inspirations but he was the one who brought it together in the end. The bottom line is Abrams and Disney DO NOT KNOW
STAR WARS the way George Lucas does. That fact can't be disputed or argued. We are talking about the trilogy after "Return of the Jedi". When Lucas gave those treatments it was probably just the story concepts of where Luke, Leia and Han and their kids go from here. To say this information isn't what Star Wars fans want is crazy. We've waited decades for this information. That's my only beef. The movie looks great and brings me back to my childhood. But the story was suppose to come from Lucas, that was what they told us from the beginning then Disney obviously change things.

You act like George Lucas had the whole story planned out from the beginning. Dude was making it up as he went along and there's proof of that all the way down to the final cut.

Now in this day and age its all about franchises. And Disney KNOWS FRANCHISES WAY BETTER THAN GEORGE LUCAS EVER WILL.

George Lucas can create a lot of good ideas, but he can't create a long cohesive story out of them.
