Disney ever fukked up a franchise?(lately) They rather work on piff for 8 years than release it just for the hit and smashHonestly I would have been much more up in arms about this when I was 14 years old and obsessive over "canon"
I just want the best possible film for the franchise and I have more confidence in Disney than GL at this point. This next 6-8 years of an abundance of Star Wars content, if successful and containing really good movies, could lead to an even longer run for Star Wars. I'm not sure if GL is capable of ensuring that compared to Disney.
Imagine if all goes well and we're in the 2030's watching another movie of an unexplored era in Star Wars, along with TV series, games, books etc still being released That's what this has the potential to lead to.
Between Disney and Lucas who's ideas (and resources) have the better chance of making a high quality ST and sustaining the release of Star Wars content for decades?Disney ever fukked up a franchise?(lately) They rather work on piff for 8 years than release it just for the hit and smash

I'd say the man that's been milking it for 40 years...
Apparently. Remember reading somewhere Spielberg saying he and Lucas bad a tough time.getting movies out.4 billi on top of the money he already has... he can make another franchise... off his name alone...
Not true Not true Not true...
I don't know where your getting this information but its false.
The Star Wars George Lucas had originally envisioned in his mind was nothing like the star wars we see today (thank god).
How you gonna post a screenshot of a notebook that's 80% blank with only a few scribbles of "Luke, Ben K, Darth Vader, and Robots" and then claim "He had the whole story planned out."
Did you see the behind the scenes of the prequels??? Dude was making shyt up on set that would affect the whole damn story moving forward or wouldn't line up with what the originals had already established. Dude gave no fukks about a coherent story and continuity.
Darth Vader wasn't even originally suppose to be Luke's father and probably wouldn't of been if the original writer hadn't passed away before Return of the Jedi.
Darth Vader was not Luke's father in A New Hope. George made that shyt up in the second draft of Empire Strikes Back.
You can't be making on the fly changes like that in a franchise
