I never really paid attention to that nikka to be honest. I ain't lying when I say all Episode 1 for me was waiting for Obi Wan and Qui Gon to put them paws on Maul.

What else would you want it to feel like.
You were supposed to be on the falcon.
You were supposed to see chewie, the chess game, the sexual tension between some young people, the villain coming of age into a bad ass.
The new r2 and his adventure.
The way they flipped it was perfect.

nikka they went to light speed in a hanger,...shyt was cold.
I go to sleep since I seen the shyt watching the new star wars and I totally dig the flip of the characters and how they split the twins story into leia/han's Ben solo as Ben Skywalker and the story of the twins and the female twin being possibly Luke's daughter.
It takes out thrawn and replaces that whole build and no villain jedi's.
To insert you into the turning of Luke's padawan and luke is already possibly Ben through the Mara jade shyt and the child situation is similar.
They don't have to explain crystals to light sabers or the twins and chewie's son being a Jedi.
They don't have to explain the twins which was a real rehash in the books of the past story.

Only thing missing is the possibility of luke going dark side like the dark horse comic did.
Yet, that should be the setup for the last movie hopefully or a new franchise.

This is a HUGE problem I have with the look of the movie (haven't seen it). It's like the oldhead version of Muppet Babies. From the end of RotJ, we know Xwings and the basic TIE fighters are phased out. Han Solo is still running around like a smuggler when he's been a general in the rebellion. The Millenium Falcon shouldn't even be in the movie. The whole feel of the PROMOS is its the same old stuff just slightly different like a lazy sequel.

Disney seemed too scared to try to do something different so they painted the new script with Original Trilogy colors.

and look at the results, unfortunately they are going to feel encouraged by those box office receipts

Extended universe, I read quite a few of the books.
I read a bit of the dark horse stuff.
All way before this movie, like almost close to more than fifteen years ago, more than likely.
To enjoy star wars tfa, I did not watch any trailers.
or read any spoilers, so I would not ruin the franchise.
that made me feel alive for the first time from media as a kid.

I see what he's saying but it was best to go retro. Try to reintroduce the genre to a new generation and add a new story for the old generation


Plus, it makes sense to use a lot of the old shyt. TFA isn't based after the prequels, it's based after the originals.

I might not be a big enough Star Wars enthusiast to understand, but I'll never understand the hatred of the prequels as hard as they get. They gave folks what we all know we really wanted to see, Jedi mufukkas doing cool Jedi shyt, something the original trilogy was bare minimum in other than Luke and Vader doing shyt.

The prequels were great and if you did not like jar jar.
They have a version where he only is in it for a short time.
Past ep I, I don't know how people complain about the prequels.
I saw attack of the clones three times in the same day and like seven times in like three weekends or some shyt.

Revenge of the Sith is absolutely at the very least on par with the Originals. If it had been executed a little better and had a couple things different it would easily be the best so far.

It has been at least fifteen years since I read a star wars book.
My books are still packed away, too.

Phantam Menace did.

if u study star wars , and the amount of money it generates.The first film of the trilogy always make the most , then there's a drop off
fEpisode 4 made 775.4 million. while ep5. made 538.4 .ep.6 made 572.1 million
then 16 years later phantom menace comes out and does 1.027 billion. ep2. made 649.4 million. ep3 made $848.8 million

also u gotta take in consideration inflation. They charge more for a ticket.
i expect there to be a drop off in ep 8 and 9
