An "elite" team wins 10-11 games a year, like I just said. Not 8 games a year or whatever you're saying. 8 wins means you lost 4-5 games that year. That's NOT elite.

I'm not saying he should NOT be fired, 2 games is very bad....and one of those wins only happened b/c of that hail mary in the 1st half....

But I'm also not saying him winning a national title just 2 years ago should be ignored. It's not like Auburn has been winning national titles with just whoever you plug in there.

2012 was all set up for Jimbo to make it to the NC game. Cupcake schedule in a cupcake conference the worst FSU should've been was 13-1. The coastal division is as weak as it has ever been with 2 teams on probation and VT having it's worse season in over 2 decades.



Losing at least 3 defensive starters early to the NFL draft is gonna have the defense in 2013 looking with a new DC. We gotta go to Clemson and Florida the only 2 programs really worth a damn next season so that's 2 losses.



Jimbo has proven he will fukk a game away to some 5 loss team every year so year 4 of the Jimbo HC era is gonna look like year 1 record wise 3 or 4 losses.

I feel you but if they had one of the typical average Auburn seasons he would have kept his job. This season was epic as far as how far a program could fall without one player. Believe me, if Auburn won 8, hell maybe even 7 games, he would not have been fired. But the reality is this team was Sun Belt status and that is not gonna pass at a school like Auburn. They pay him too much money to be awful. Hell he could have made a but load of money being average but he has been fukking awful. I know you remember how when Cam was there the defense was still terrible and Gene is a defensive coach.

Going winless in the Conference, getting smoked by your two biggest rivals back to back, giving up 63 to the New Kids on the Block(TAMU) AT HOME and having the NCAA hounds set up shop in the parking lot will get you fired EVERY TIME down here. If the talent isn't where its supposed to be, guess what, that's his fault too.

But don't feel sorry for dude, he got a ring, he'll get a 7 mil buyout, work on TV next year, and then pop up somewhere like South Florida, Georgia State, random Big East/Big Ten school. He good....

Not to turn this into a fsu thread but be real yo, his offensive play calling is so predictable. I've literally sat thru games and just called the plays they were gonna run and was right 85-90% of the time. Can recruit his ass but those who know KNOW its Coley, Odell, Craig and Gran bringing in top notch recruits. Only recruit of note I know he's brought in was G5 & EJ. He's a stubborn muthafukka who is guaranteed to lose 3 assistants this offseason. The tension is that thick amongst that staff. Then think about if we had Chad Morris or any offensive guru out there with the weapons we got on O....nikkas wouldn't be seeing us on that side of the ball. Duke is an avg HC and above avg OC at best. Auburn can have this dude. I'd be content w/ Stoops being HC. At least that will ensure that we will have a OC and not some ego driven dude pressing out there to prove he can be dual hatted

Chad Morris is the future of Head Coaching in college football. Thats why he makes over a million a year as a coordinator. Hell if Dabo didn't have him, Clemson would be NC State status.
