the worse season bob stoops ever had is going 8-5, if bob stoops went 3-9 this year 0 big 12 wins, only wins against a fcs team and two non bcs conference teams he would be axed.
Exactly, Wouldnt Have Even Lasted The Season

No he wouldnt.
He's NEVER had a losign season and on top of that OU was the pitts before he arrived. Also, he brings in major money, he brings in recruits in ALL sports....not just football.
He the winningest cfb coach over the past 13 years.....
Yeah, fire him after 1 bad season, and watch what happens.

Yeah, but again, you're not thinking properly
1. think about how many 5* recruits come in and never pan out.
2. you're not gonna land a Cam Newton type player year in and out
3. the gap is closing in cfb. I can look at the physique of Oklahoma St players, or Texas A&M players, and it's not the same caliber of athlete as they were 10 years ago.
4. You're not gonna recruit the top players every year, so you have to make due.
If a coach did the same thing in a bad season that he did when he won the nat. title 2 short years ago, then what's changed?
does that have to do with an elite program going 2-10?
You Dont Need 5 Star Recruits Or A Cam Newton To Win 6 Games & Make A Bowl game
You act like Auburn was winning 10-11 games every year
Outside of the Cadillac Williams/Jason Campbell year or two, Auburn wasnt that good before Cam got there.
He just got fired, Bruce Feldman:
@BFeldmanCBS: Gene Chizik has been told that he is out at Auburn as the Tigers head coach a source just told me.
