Can't believe people are in here defending this bum....anyone going 3-9 at a major program in college football should get the axe automatically. You get 2-3 automatic wins from playing cupcakes, that's basically going winless for a whole season...and they weren't even competitive in most of their losses.

He is in over his head as far as HC for FSU. His offense has gotten worse and his refusal to fire Rick Trickett is killing our recruiting as far as attracting elite OL prospects. No elite prospects wanna play for this shytty ass scheme Trickett runs.
Recruiting is gonna fall off soon after the defensive staff starts getting raided. Jimbo needs to relinquish OC duties and focus on being a HC only. Jimbo is playing minor league ball and still underachieving IMO. This is as good as it's gonna be for the next couple of years.
I wanna see Rick's face when Jimbo tells him your son isn't good enough to start over 2 underclassmen next season.

Jimbo relieves Trickett of his duties and hires a real OC instead of a stooge who is OC in name only i'll fall back on the Jimbo hate.
His 3 year resume isn't very impressive though when you consider how shytty the ACC is and how down Miami and Florida have been since he took over in 2010.

2010 Florida- Garbage
2010 Miami- Garbage
2010 South Carolina- 5 loss team in bowl game
The first time he coaches against a top level Florida team he gets his ass kicked at home on senior day with his pet project 5th year senior QB choking his ass off.
FSU beating GT doesn't mean shyt to the big time boosters they know the ACC stinks and that changes need to be made on the offensive side of the ball. Jimbo is too stubborn to admit he has too much on his plate though and will not fix this and FSU will continue to underachieve until he gets canned after the 2014 season.

If 11-2 and conference title is as good as it gets, then id definitely take that
