If we're keepin it a buck, Gen Z is tired of the fukk shyt and having people say "if I volunteered for fukkery that means you have to too". The world owes them not to be greedy fukks that lets hyper capitalism eat everything away and not trying to gaslight them into thinking "they didn't work hard enough".

Seems like every company in the country used "inflation" as an excuse to increase prices.
Everywhere you look, companies reported record profits then used that money to boost their stock's share price.

When people talk about how the media is biased and creates "fake news", they think organizations like MSNBC or Fox News are spinning lies. And sure, they do present things with an angle.

But the real mistrust with the media is how they ignore or marginalize stories like this: corporate greed.
And by failing to bang the drum about this crap, the general public remains largely unaware. And so they blame other things for why things suck and are getting worse....like immigrants or regulation or whatever.

And to be sure, the media is quite happy to give the public all sorts of other boogeymen.

Welp they did get fast food places to up their starting wage.

I mean its a start. If folks is willing to bust they asses for $7.15 an hour, why would these corporations shell out any more?

They were told automation would just replace them. Gen Z called their bluff. Stared them down and didnt blink. Now a number of fast food places in a number of locations are paying upwards of 13-15 an hour or more.

They tell these people anyone could do their job. Maybe so. But could and would are two completely different animals. If no one WOULD do it for peanuts, welp.....what choice do they have but raise the salary? Them burgers aint gone flip themselves. That cash register isnt going to take the customers money itself.

I been sayin this shyt for decades and it was kinda gratifying to see someone finally take these corporations to task.

Know yall worth folks.

The other part is they are cutting employees and cutting hours and raising prices. Also they are investing in automation which is cheaper. Yeah you got 15 an hour but 5 years from now, no more job.
