LWO/Starkset
I think the crux of this storyline is Arya drawing LF out using Sansa rather than Sansa vs. Arya, Arya's behaviour feels off in all of the scenes.
The writers are definitely being lazy and cramming everything into the convos

This episode started off wit like 3-4 awkward convos back-to-back :why:

But i also just think she isnt that good of an actor :manny: the lannisters/jon/sam/bronn/LF been carrying these last few seasons acting wise

bruh ...

jon literally gives 0 fuxks, he crawled out that ice pool, picked up his sword and dared them to come get him again :heh:

did rhagal fly off after viserion got taken out and dany flew with drogon? i was shook 2 of them went down for a sec. was expecting rhagal to scoop Jon out the water but this also wraps up Uncle Benjen's storyline. will they ever explain how he got half turned into a walker and how he just roamed the north undetected by the night king?

i have a weird suspicion of who the night king is :jbhmm::patrice: but not sure how it makes sense

this episode felt damn near fan fiction at times but i ain't complaining, its piff ... the scene with the 7 in the middle swarmed by walkers was crazy

shoutouts to thoros for going out like a G

also ... where are they going with the arya/sansa storyline? you guys think arya is tryna lead sansa into wearing a mask (can she?) and one upping littlefinger?

Not really - they're in Winterfell surrounded by their bannermen. As much barking as Arya is doing she can't just attack Sansa without answering for it, especially as Jon is King in the North and he left Sansa in charge to deputise for him. The only way Arya can really hurt Sansa is with the letter which is why Sansa was so shook. She wasn't shook that Arya was going to attack her even though she was intimidated by Arya in the room, she's more scared of the fact that Arya can use the letter to expose her to all the bannerman at Winterfell, especially as her allegiance is already looking funny in the light as she's married both Tyrion and Ramsey who's houses are/were active enemies of the Starks.

LF and Sansa are basically scheming on Arya - LF had Sansa send Brienne away so she can't protect Arya

never know, LF could be dead this episode already and Arya running around with his mask. Can't trust GOT needs to see LF and Arya in the same place real soon

So-- we're supposed to accept that the NK/WW whose only weakness have been shown to be dragon related (V. Steel, Dragonglass) can one shot a dragon with a hand thrown spear? This MF can't even walk past the Wall, but he can manhandle the creature that CAN decimate the wall? This is one of those moments where it's obvious they're just trying to wrap this thing up.

He didn't exactly let the Dragon get close to him though, he downed it and didn't get a direct blast of fire :yeshrug:

They established that Dragons could be hurt a long time ago, and reminded everyone of it two episodes ago so it shouldn't be too surprising that some mystical death machine could take one down. There was no urgency from the White Walkers, they didn't fear the Dragons so maybe the fire can't kill them either :lupe:

The White Walker that Jon killed at HardHome actually looked more surprised that he blocked his ice pick than any of them seemed by the Dragon attack.
