it’s not difficult at all once you’re clear on what aspect(s) of the show “you” are comparing if you’re choosing to limit the comparisons but ppl are usually lazy in that respect especially if they like both shows and don’t want to be forced to compare them…ppl (not necessarily you) will say shows like that can’t be compared but have no problem ranking these same shows which obviously involves comparing them to some extent

What she heard was the rambling of a dying man, who thought he was talking to his daughter. Who also has a son named Aegon. So Alicient does think that was his last wish. But in the end it doesn't matter because the Small Council was plotting regardless.

She also initially seemed to be upset that the optics of Viserys declaration would make people naturally skeptical

Am I the only one who has had the thought cross his mind that Corlys' wife had something to do his disappearance and seeming death (or somebody else we've seen already)?

What kind of husband goes away for 6 years and not come back? His brother is dead, his king, his kids, his wife is playing the game, civil war is about to break out, etc and he supposedly laid up somewhere healing.

Just finding the disappearance of such a major player like him kind of odd.

Old Queen lady definitely should have just took care of the problem when she had the chance. But I guess motherly emotional woman sentiment got in the way.

She saw very clearly that they were killing people loyal to Rhaenrya.

Okay, so he's back in KL now. You still need to explain why Otto would care enough to track down Mysaria a decade later.
Ser Erryk serves the King, not Otto. Why would he watch Aegon waiting for Otto's word to throw a coup?

I'm trying to be respectful, but the show is not bad because you're unable to use logic to work things out and are too dumb to comprehend what's happening.

When Rhaenyra was thotting as a teenager and Otto went to Viserys about it, it was implied he had spies around King’s Landing. Those spies didn’t evaporate into thin air. They likely stayed in touch with Otto or stayed in touch with Alicent and the other Hightowers.

Also, keep in mind, the show has shown that the Hightowers have completely taken over Kings Landing. When Rhaenyra and Daemon came back, both were about the Faith’s sigil (star) being everywhere in the city. It’s not a great leap of logic to think that the Hightowers have eyes everywhere. The Lannisters did, why wouldn’t they?
