No emotion at all. My whole point was people who get abortions get it for a reason. Then you started taking about yourself. I'm talking about everyone, you're talking about yourself.

Again I only speak for myself ,you can only speak for yourself. I don't know why people get abortions that's gonna be debated until end of time .

This entire dumb a** post is the exact reason why abortion should be left up to the individual woman her family and her doctor.

I'd explain to you why this is a stupid post but you wouldn't get it. you have a nice day.

Kill babies brehs.

If you ever end on life support, I hope someone’s there to pull the plug and send you into darkness since you don’t think people have the right to live if they can’t do it on their own.

I'll let the women tell me why this is a problem. But this doesn't sound a8ll that unreasonable. Though brain activity would have been a better deadline (no pun intended).

This is a problem because many of us don't even know we're pregnant that early.

This is how it works. Say a woman has sex when she ovulated and gets pregnant during that period. By the time she is supposed to get her period 2 weeks later (which she won't), she'll already be considered 4 weeks pregnant at that time because of how they count the weeks.

Typically, the heartbeat can be detected around week 5 or week 6. Now, that doesn't mean a woman has actually been pregnant for 6 weeks/42 days. It is just how doctors calculate the gestation period. This is why generally we say human women are pregnant for 9 months but a full-time pregnancy is actual 40 weeks vs 36 weeks. It is because they add 4 weeks on for the sake of calculating.

So, this means a woman could PHYSICALLY only be carrying a baby inside of her for about 2 weeks. By the time she even starts to notice her period is missing or her body is feeling different, that embryo's heart could have already start beating.

This bill is basically saying a woman has to figure out she is pregnant and decide she is keeping it within 30 days, damn near. If she is a woman who has irregular periods or reproductive problems, it would already be hard for her to determine her cycle anyway and be able to track this.

As an aside, a problem I personally have with this as a woman is every woman who gets pregnant and seeks an abortion is not seeking it because of some moral failing; many people seem to think a specific sort of woman is who seeks an abortion but, in reality, it's not that black and white.

There could be a married woman somewhere who is on birth control and gets pregnant by her husband. They could be in a position, too, where said baby could pose some sort of financial or emotional burden on this family they can't shoulder and, honestly, abortion would be a reprieve. While those in the mainstream would look at a single woman in this situation and call her a whore and say she should have kept her legs closed, no one is going to tell a married woman she should have kept her legs closed to her husband.

Yet, though married, she might need an abortion because the family just can't handle it and, because of this law, she wouldnt be able to get one. So now, they are forced to endure consequences of having sex within marriage, though they tried to be responsible and prevent unwanted pregnancies. If they already have kids, it will affect them as well.

It's just fukkery all around.

Oh well. I ain't trippin'.

Just ain't got it in me to exterminate a child or support anyone doing that. And I don't judge anyone either. Stacey ain't take to kind to this either because she stated it's "abominable, evil, and bad for business" while doing an interview w/ Joy Reid. If she would've got in, GA was about to be like NY and they abortion laws.

And by the way, in more GA news. For all you GA residents. You have more foolishness headed your way regardless if you like it or not. Them retards out there tryna turn your State into some sort of HIV safe haven. They (lgbt activists) working w/ politics to knock spreading HIV/AIDS down to a misdemeanor instead of a felony like they did in Cali and they've been working on it since 2017, possibly earlier. I think the bill is on the table right now, but it hasn't picked up much steam. So while you may disagree w/ Kemp on this issue, you better hope and pray that gets knocked down by him or someone else like him. If Stacey was in his seat, that would've already passed w/ flying colors too since she has already made her pitch to them, labeled herself a champion for them on her website, and even was endorsed by the HRC.

You'd think that a policy of "abortions can stay, Terminal STDs must go" would be easily accepted.

The main point that poster missed. it should be up to the family and it currently is for life support, the government pretty much stays out of it!

mfers cry about the government all day then beg them to get involved in shyt they have no business in!

Not only is it unreasonable, it violates Roe v. Wade. They're trying to trigger a legal battle which could lead to a SC challenge and RvW being struck down.

Women Who Have an Abortion in Georgia Could Soon Be Sentenced to Life in Prison

"On Tuesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, a Republican, signed the most extreme abortion ban nationwide. The measure is a "fetal heartbeat bill," known as HB 481, that would outlaw abortion after six weeks, which is when a heartbeat is sometimes detected in an embryo, but before many women even know that they're pregnant. The bill doesn't just curtail women's reproductive freedom (no minor offense); it criminalizes the procedure itself, which means women who get an abortion could face life in prison and even the death penalty. That's because, as Slate explains, once HB 481 takes effect, a woman who terminates her own pregnancy with, for example, a drug easily available on the internet, "will have, as a matter of law, killed a human—thereby committing murder." Under Georgia law, the punishment for that crime is life imprisonment or capital punishment.

HB 481, which is due to take effect on January 1, 2020, would also have consequences for women who suffer a miscarriage. If a woman were to miscarry based on her behavior—such as use of drugs or alcohol—she would be liable for second-degree murder, which is punishable to 10 to 30 years' imprisonment. Even if she opted to leave Georgia to obtain an abortion—she'd still be just as liable for punishment in the state. If a woman travels to another state for an abortion, she may be charged with conspiracy to commit murder, which can lead to 10 years’ imprisonment. And if you're a woman who wants to help a friend cross state lines for her abortion, you could also be charged with conspiracy.
