but factually, over 90% of legal abortions occur within a time frame where you'd have to be looking EXTRA HARD to see a fetus, so if you did care to "watch" it would be mostly uterus lining or other matter coming out.
the last abortion i knew about, someone took the pill that makes you bleed out at home, i'm told it looked like a very heavy period.

It was sickening and I wish I didn’t in hindsight. I don’t know how anyone could watch that shyt and walk away unfazed. just giving facts. i mean i get it's scary to think about anything that could possibly harm a child. but in this topic there are so many facts widely available...facts easier to reconcile than the various religious beliefs or hypocritical societal and moral values, facts easier to take in than any of the gore pics or movies or other fear mongering you've been subjected to.

And only one side is trying to enforce its ideology with punishment. Pro-choicers aren't turning their backs on assisting women/men/families who have children they can't afford. Many in the pro-life side are also backing abstinence only education and marriage only(despite the fact married women have abortions for financial reasons as well).

This same government also used to decide who should be sterilized to keep from having any children which surprise, surprise mostly landed on minorities, POC, and poor women.

Conservatism literally means the conservation of the status quo. And that is evidenced with how conservatives govern. Being progressive is the opposite of that. So yes there's something wrong with conservatism given what the status quo represents in this country.
