roe v wade got into the medical part of it and that is how that timeline was decided. a fetus with just a heartbeat is not considered a "viable" life ...it still cant "live" without further growth and the support of the womans body (similar to a grown person on medically assisted life support where ironically a next of kin can terminate life support at any time and nobody really gives af). so they balanced the right of a woman to decide what to use her body for by drawing the line at the point where it was a actual life that could survive without the womans body. once the fetus reached that stage where it could survive on its own, they limited abortions to the rape/incest, health of mother issues.

Wade seems like good law to me because it's based in medicine instead of random arbitrary factors. this bill doesn't seem to add any important new medical evidence or any other logical reasoning to why the decision needs to be made so quickly so i think it will get shut down. but its a lot of new trump appointed judges so who knows what they'll decide. If they uphold it they'll have to overturn very and longstanding important precedents

No. The people pushing these bills don’t care about life at any age.

We have social programs to help the “unwanted” but are defunded and attacked by the same people pushing for all these heartbeat bills.

I’m not saying anything against what’s in your heart, but you have to see that there’s no logic to what the people doing this have for life at any age and it’s some disgusting belief on control over who gets to procreate.

Exactly. We've all heard the story of the young chick who was pregnant but waited a sec to tell her parents. If a 14 yr old finds out at six weeks and waits 2 more weeks to get an abortion she shouldn't be able to? What if she dies during birth? That's ok cause her "lil fast ass was irresponsible"?
