This single topic always exposes the idiots and dumbasses:russ:

I'm at the point where I assume anyone saying that music/entertainment has zero impact on the actions of the masses, is like 15 or some shyt.

Ain't no way any grown adult with a hint of common sense is gonna say some of the stupid shyt that's been said already in this thread:russ:

Exactly.

I'm not even entertaining these clowns.

I'll let life school them.

before it was popularized in the early 2010s/late 2000s black ppl by in large did not fukk with Percs & Molly.

What large group of black people do you see doing heroin or molly?? I see people singing a song not doing the drugs in said song smh

That's besides the point though

Percs are heroin

Lean is heroin

The original Hendrix was a heroin addict

Ray Charles was a heroin addict

Heroin has existed in black culture for decades

What an awful performer :mjlol: Just the background track.

rap concerts are pathetic, there's pretty much no one I'd pay to see other than Hov at this point

One thing they I'll always give Jay props for is making it popular to rock over a live band.

That's the only set up that's does hip hop music justice live.

Nobody has denied that good parenting is needed. However also remember that plenty of chicks are having children young and they themselves are not fully prepared to raise a child. So of course they listen to that kind of stuff in front of their child and don't think anything of it.

The media has a far greater reach and for every good parent out there you have plenty of others that just don't care.

If you as a parent let a rapper have more influence and say so than you, then you as a parent have failed. Stop passing the gatdam buck off on rappers. You silly MFs look for every other excuse and never want to place blame and responsibly where it deserves to be placed :mindblown:

Who's responsible if kids are doing drugs? Rappers or parents? :francis:

If you're a nikka that comes from certain circumstances, knows first hand how many shorties are out hear basically raising themselves, and how these same shorties hang onto every word from these rappers, you wouldn't even think to formulate a question like this.

I realize it's a lot of suburban cac nikkas on here who don't get it, but most older rappers come from similar circumstances and know very well the effects their words have.

If you knowingly make the choice to spread nothing but poison to shorties looking to you for some sort of guidance, you're a piece of shyt.

That's all I got for you, breh.

So you agree that it's the parents fault ultimately :myman:

Stop blaming rappers and the media for kids doing drugs. It's a stupid ass cop out

This whole "rapper xy is influencing the youth to do this & that" topic is so fukkin dumb seriously :snoop:
But its a perfect excuse for the parents not giving a shyt bout their children & their education:

"B-b-b-b-but he started doing drugs because of music, not because of the fact that we dont give a shyt about him or his education" :snoop::snoop::snoop:

The only idiots are nikkaz like you who expect rappers to have more influence over children rather then the parents who actually are in their lives :mjlol:

nikkaz love cop outs :mjlol:

funny how new age rappers are to blame for this

but i def remember listening to three 6 mafia songs with heavy ass drug usage and names in them. beastie boys and wu tang were all dust heads and made plenty of references to it
this

before the current generation they blamed it on Wayne, then before Wayne it was three 6, ugk, e-40, Eminem, the wu, etc but it was ok when they rapped about it :mjlol:

Nobody said it wasn't the parents job to raise the kid right. That still doesn't stop the influence of the media on other kids who didn't have good parenting. Not everyone grows up in a 2 parent household. Not everyone has good parents and not everyone actually listens to their parents. So in contrast you have media pushing drugs, twerking, etc and these kids are listening to it and being influenced by it.

In an ideal world a rapper shouldn't have more influence then the parent but we don't live in a world where you are screened first to see if you're mentally capable of raising a child. We don't live in a world that tells you whether or not your child will rebel against your teachings or not.

Nobody said rappers force kids to do drugs but rappers do have an influence just like athletes do. I don't agree with the thread title just the premise that rappers have an influence on the youth.
