Ima be real breh, ever since @PhonZhi pointed put to me that I started sipping in part due to rap music this shyt been a lil suspect to me. If y'all know anything about lean then y'all know rap/social media has made lean incredibly popular and hundreds of times more expensive than it should be. Rap is definitely influencing people to try designer drugs

Drugs are escapism like most forms of popular entertainment especially in America. Music is even more of a source of escapism for the artists and the listeners. shyt like this reminds me of the videogame making kids violent shyt or something.

Yes shyt can influence kids, but pointing fingers at artists and not the real source of societal problems :francis::ufdup:

So leave Future alone :birdman:

With that being said,

I grew up listening to rap and watching movies that were detrimental. I know they were bad and that I'd be dumb to actually think that's how I'm supposed to live my life. At the end of the day, you can be influenced by whatever & ANYTHING around you.

Y'all gotta stop blaming hip hop and entertainment for being raised shytty and having shytty parents who didn't instill right and wrong in y'all. At the end of the day, it's a choice to listen to music, and to watch these rated r movies.

As is the cop that a rapper's content is the start off all things evil.

So we just gon talk of social responsibility and throw personal accountability and responsibility to the bushes huh?

Future's social responsibility doesn't go further than him making it explicitly clear that his content is for mature audiences. He owes you nothing outside of abiding the law. Granted stuff is bound to slip through and be consumed by people much younger than those who are supposed to consume it, but the onus is not on Future at that point, furthermore, even at 13 i knew right from wrong and that actions have consequences.

Be naive and think that if future and rappers of his ilk were singing about rainbows and flowers, the world would be any sweeter brehs.

from foodstamps to a whole nother domain :wow:

To Quote A Wise Group Of Legendary & Colorful Midgets:

Who do you blame when your kid is a brat?
Pampered and spoiled like a siamese cat?
Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame?
You know exactly who's to blame?

The mother and the father

Not Future. :francis: Now Listen I'm not saying music doesn't effect the listeners & I'm Not Saying I support Future and the bs he mubbles about however the parents are the main defining factor in a kids lives or at least they should be :hubie:

I listened to dipset all day when I was a jit killing and cooking crack was the main topic but I didn't go along with any of it cause of my upbringing :yeshrug: Plus My Moms Jacked My Jim Jones Album when she heard what was on it :CryingJim:

Your kids ain't futures responsibility so I feel it ain't right to come at the artist for this no matter how wack and vulgar he may be :francis:

I mean once a school principle tried to blame cam for his influence on the youth as well cam blamed it on the parents & thats were this smiley originally came from :umad:

Just My 4 cents :hamster:

Why I avoid talking hip hop with suburban nikkas.

If u nikkas want to fight a media to help civilization/black community then attack visual media.

Music has nothing on movies/tv shows and news outlets.

But hey some yall got a narrative to push:yeshrug:
Show me somebody from a movie or tv show that tells us that's his real life and he really do the chit we saw him do in a movie or tv show.

Nah breh, music doesn't influence people. I know people used to play R&B or Jazz to set the mood, but rap/trap music doesn't and can't inspire any moods. At al!!!! :birdman:
