About to be fully automated fast food restaurants. With contractors providing maintenance and repairs.

Capitalism is beast

Let it. Basically, you saying that over half of America doesn't deserve a LIVABLE WAGE. You OK with 3rd world poverty because of a few CEOs that want to stunt like Birdman?

This is a slippery slope. The next group will be hotel workers wanting $30/hour, full pension and 32 hour work week. Please take a few minutes and review the hell hole that is CA. He and is ilk are the reason for the spiral down of a once-great place to live. I'd write more but I have to step around this homeless encampment to pay $6.50 for no brand petrol.

I didn't say anything. I'm just talking about the nature of the beast.

I know he's not perfect but I think he would be the best candidate right now in fact.

Workers wanting better pay and benefits, how dare they do this lol.
The audacity of me to think that I had control of my investment - who was I to believe that intellect, time, energy, savings and sweat equity would be enough to to build a business and hopefuly leave a legacy for my family?

Who knew that all I had to do was to join a Union and want a better life? I hope that the government forgive my debt while I wait on Reparations to kick in...

Until you have to pay the cost and then some in added "fees" to your hotel bill.
Yeah, not like they'll be doing that anyway or anything.

Not like all these corporations have been bragging about record profits for the last 2-3 years while still paying their employees like shyt. :francis:

Or just firing them. :francis:

My Wife told me yesterday the goal of corporations is to get to 0 tax. Idk if that’s possible or if that is happening now. I didn’t fact check yet.

I know Trump dropped the rate when he was in office. Either way, America is for the rich and they have the politicians to make sure it stays that way.

If the federal minimum wage needs to be raised to $25 an hour, I’m for it. The goal post will always move, small business will adapt, and people will figure it out.

I made $13 an hour as a 19 yo in 2005. Could afford my own place, could feed myself, paid for gas, and a little money to trick off. I think the fed min rate was still 5.15.

What can 13 hr get you now? Damn near 20 years later? Fed rate is 7.25. We don’t put enough pressure on the Feds. It is up to the people to vote for those who will raise their state rate to somewhere “reasonable”.

Gavin trying to take care of Cali. It sucks that one person can do will in one area and go wild in another. I guess there is no perfect candidate.

There's no way you're paying anyone $15 much less $20 an hour to sweep or flip burgers down South. Or even parts of the Midwest. COL is just too low for that. On the coastal states that might be cool, but you're gonna have to deal with inflation especially rent inflation right after that.
