Flex a lame, of course the Griselda sound ain’t gonna crossover to the masses but it’s like Flex been waiting to go at them.. he don’t even care to incorporate some of the rap/bar heavy music into their programming..
after this tho I hope they do chill and just focus on letting the music speak for itself because they do complain a lot like everyone is trying to play them

I think it is only Conway that is complaining in Griselda. The other day I did a calculation of the amount of vinyl that Conway sells through Da RapWinkel only with the different releases priced in at 35$ on average. In the past 1.5 years his sales revenues were between 450K-500K. Take a third out of that for distro. A Conway drop could be up to 5000 vinyl which is a lot by today standards. I didn’t even include multiple represses from other site like vinyl digital.com etc. Westside doesn’t give a damn , he sticks to 200 limited runs and never represses. He seems very doing great with his situation, saying he already got 5 houses and that red SUV. That man is different.

Sounds like a plan for yourself…but these guys always expose themselves

They want to be something that they’re not and want things they wasn’t meant for. Not satisfied with having a fanbase in white boys & geriatrics so then it becomes something else. They secretly want to be Mase, Drake & 2Pac lol

feel like they been complaining for years that it isn't 1994 anymore and they aren't being received like Nas, Mobb Deep and Wu Tang. Meaning black women were rocking with them no matter how gutter or lyrical they were spitting. As someone said before they aren't satisfied with their fanbase. Getting money, cool Getting some shine from the legends of 2 decades ago, cool. Dressing with bust down jewels and custom leathers etc in a crowd of dudes who look like they go to school in Vermont :mjlol: it just doesn't hit the same. OBVIOUSLY, as we see.......

Should just be happy to be where they at and keep it moving. It's Lil Baby, Da Baby, Future, Gucci, NBA Youngboy now, can get some cars and try to dress it up however but the audience is limited. Just have to be happy, there's a lot to be happy about.

You can’t exactly play Griselda records at a party something like that, and they’ve saturated the market, if you gon listen, then you already know them, I’m sorry but nbc more than likely won’t be playing a snippet of your shyt on a commercial break, keep making your music and tour

It's a double edged sword. They'll never become superstars without the radio. But radio will never play them to make them superstars so...

Even if they made a marginal street hit, they wouldn't make it to radio rotation without the payolla...doesn't matter if the streets fukked with them or not.

exactly.

the are not content with the little lane they have.

you think Larry June is crying about shyt? No. Dude has first pick of the best Cards shyt, does his perch thang and owns a boba tea shop + his fanbase is locked in.

Conway doesn't have the look, songs, vibe or crossover ability that he probably sees in his head. But he could easily do him and eat off of the fans that are in his lane. This blaming the "old heads" shyt is tired. Go after the CACs who run the label and sign off on everything.

OR run your fukking career like a small business and get 5-7 people to work their asses off pumping your product. Problem is that the $$ isn't there for that kind of manpower and who knows if there would be a return on the investment.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Not a flex fan or Radio DJs at all

But seriously these radio DJs is not going to play street music like that on radio

And why even care? This isn’t the 80s or 90s with no social media and radio /tv was your only outlet

40 year old nikka still stuck in 94
Because unlike popular belief, people find new music on the radio at the same exact percent that they find it on music apps
