I think the only way it'll do numbers is if they bring back the original cast, much like fuller house, even if its just for an episode or pop ins. That's the only way I see it working. And Will is going to have to make at least ONE appearance, preferably in the premiere. If you can't get any of that, then the shyt is DOA.

Well, here's this

‘Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ Creator: Don’t Call Will Smith’s New Show A ‘Reboot’
Yea Will would def have to be in the pilot to make sure it did numbers and got off to a proper start. I think If it starred Carlton and Ashley Bank it would be a hit. Not like either one of them is doing much right now. It would be interesting to see how they address Uncle Phil's absence though.

A fish out of water story with an entire new cast could actually work too, but again Will has to be involved. Make him produce it with Jay-Z like they did Annie.

‘Fuller House’ Spoilers: Season 2 Storyline Revealed; What Will Happen If Netflix Reboot Is Renewed?
If you’re hoping that “Fuller House” gets another season loaded with iconic catch phrases, nostalgic moments and wholesome family fun, you’re not alone. The cast of the “Full House” Netflix reboot is also crossing their fingers that the series gets renewed for a sophomore installment.

“It was so much fun doing the first 13 [episodes] that I don’t feel finished,” Andrea Barber, who plays Kimmy Gibler, told People magazine. “I definitely want to do more.”

Dave Coulier, who appears as Uncle Joey in three episodes of the series, shared a similar sentiment, revealing that he too wants to see “Fuller House” continue its storyline. “If I was the guy in charge, I’d say yeah, I think there’s a gigantic ‘Full House’ fan base that will just devour these [episodes],” the comedian dished. “Only time will tell and the audience is the one who really is the barometer of this. It’s pretty much hope and wait.”

But while Coulier is sitting, waiting and wishing, John Stamos, who portrays Uncle Jesse and acts as the show’s executive producer, is getting proactive. According to the reports, the Elvis-loving actor is already prepping for a second season of “Fuller House.” Stamos unveiled that if the show gets renewed for a Season 2, he plans on focusing the plotline of “Fuller House” on DJ’s (Candace Cameron Bure) and Kimmy’s kids; Jackson (Michael Campion), Max (Elias Harger) and Ramon (Soni Bringas).

"Next season, if we get one, I want to develop the kids more on the show. Have them carry a little more story, a little more emotional stuff,” he teased to People magazine.

In addition to evolving the character plots of the kids, creator Jeff Franklin revealed during the Television Critics Association press tour that he’s also hoping to add a new storyline — Michelle’s (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen).

The twins opted out of reprising their beloved role of Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) youngest daughter for the “Full House” reboot. But Franklin explained he’s hoping the actresses-turned-fashion moguls will change their minds — after all, he just “needs one of them!”

“We’re hopeful at some point in the future, they may change their minds and reprise Michelle,” he said.

Although the Olsen twins didn’t return to the show that began their stardom, the girls were frequently referenced throughout Season 1 of “Fuller House.” In fact, there were so many playful digs at the girls that one of the many Olsen-inspired jokes had to be cut from the show.

:blessed:Season 2 needs to happen.

:ohlawd:Michelle would get a minute long applause if she came back for a Season 2 cameo.

they could easily do a family matters spinoff, if OG harriet got along and wanted to come back and do it.

The only people not returning would be mother winslow :mjcry: and myra :mjcry:

the premise could be 20 years after the series finale in which laura and steve get married, have 3 kids
1. Steve Jr - 17 years old very popular (think steffan, with eddie's penchant to get in trouble)
2. Rachael - 13 years old, very outgoing, smart, and takes shyt from no one (think of the OG harriet)
3. Carl jr - 10 years old, very loving, short tempered, funny, and pudgy.

Steve is a physicist at a local highschool (he declined a more lucrative job with NASA, fulfilling laura's wishes to stay close to home with her family) Steve secretly hates laura for this but never brings it up. Steve is no longer the nerdy, accident prone kid he was many years ago. He has matured in the way he talks and acts. Unknowing to everyone else, steve develops a "stefan" formula where he must drink 16 ounces every 2 weeks to retain his "coolness". All hell breaks out when Steve sometimes forgets to take his medicine leaving carl to wonder just how the hell his daughter picked him over stefan.

Laura is a fashion designer who is struggling to launch her own clothing and shoe line. She works in retail at clothing store where she hopes one day her dream will come true

They recently move back into the house in which Laura grew up in. Laura's parent's carl, and harriet have retired from the police field, and service industry respectfully and they live in the part of the house formerely occupied by mother winslow. Carl (mid 60s) is still the burly good hearted fellow we knew from years past. As he has mellowed down completely and accepts steve as his son except when he acts like steve. Harriet, is still the matriarch, wise cracking, joke teller, she was in years earlier showing us just how her and carl's marriage lasted.

Rachael, has opened up 3 more rachael's places in chicago, where she enlist the help of her son Ritchie, and best friend 3J to help manage and run one of the stores.

Ritchie and 3J are both 30 years old, who live togethor, and try to chase every piece of tail they can. Their ineptness to find true love makes them a consistent laughing point in the season.

Eddie, married Greta, and he's captain of the police force, have 2 kids, eddie jr, and myrtle (named after his stalker from years earlier) who are 2 years apart and drive eddie and greta nuts.

Waldo, and Weasel make frequent cameos to "mess" with eddie's life the way they use to, but this time in a more adult oriented role.

Maxine, and Waldo break up, but they have an 11 year old daughter (Neicey) that keeps them on good terms and talking to eachother.

The only thing possible is perfect strangers they'd legitimately be the appropriate age of the odd couple but balky might also be too :flabbynsick:to get up to his old antics

Not all of that shyt needs to come back breh. Family matters was dog shyt after its first few seasons. I wouldn't mind perfect strangers even tho both of them have aged and it shows a lot but I don't think those things are as organic as fuller house in terms of where the story could go next. And again with family matters Jaleel has repeatedly said he's done with it for years and recently he said he doesn't know how it would translate to modern sensibility even if he did want to do it. And without Steve there's no family matters

I'm saying breh. nikkaz really wanna see Jaleel do Urkel again?:why:

A grown ass man saying "Did I do that?":camby:
:snoop:Just go watch the original series. Fuller House worked cause most of the cast wanted to do it and the House brought back that old time feeling. I don't see what Family Matters could possibly bring back that would be enjoyable. Laura ain't even that hot anymore.
