I swear to you Shaft was such a breath of fresh air. It kept it real about women and gays...both who have been skyrocketed to super hero status.

The last few movies I’ve seen included Dark Phoenix and Toy Story 4. Both had girl power horse shyt. X women? fukk you J Law. Little Bo fukking Peep? Buzz Lightyear a boneheaded idiot?

I’m sick off these films. I’m tired of this women are badass, in control, logical narrative being pushed. It’s exhausting.

Its often done noticeably poorly, where they have women in positions of power they usually aren't in real life, or doing technical jobs they usually don't, or they have 100 pound women beating the crap out of dozens of 200 pound men.
