To be fair, Eminem benefits from privilege which artificially boosts his record and single numbers. But I don't blame him because other artists benefit from the same thing. The difference is that their privilege isn't as spotlighted. Drake makes similar pop rap bullshyt and is seen as a safe alternative for those that like hip hop but don't want to get sucked into the ghetto black version. In a way he benefits from a degree of privilege like Eminem. This obvious bias is part of the reason I don't care about this type of music.
