I'm really reading this FTC response and I'm giving it the Tucker Carlson stupid face. It is bird babble in legal form. shyt literally makes no sense. Once I learned that she was an ideologue, I knew what time it was.

Everything is a monopoly if you segment it enough. She'll catch the L in court again.

Xbox really showed no games because of this woman. None. I just wanted a Redfall release date.

Xbox fans like me have to suffer while she cosplays as Eliot Ness. Phil isn't Al Capone!!! He sells video games!! Games! The biggest night of the year and xbox has to lay low because you have it out for them.

I'm interested in this claim that they told EU regulators that Zeni/Bethesda games would remain multiplatform. from what I remember MS said they would honor current contracts, but not that they would keep all the games multiplat
During the approval process they told regulators that their intent wasn't to make Bethesda games exclusive. Publicly they were very vague, saying that all contracts will be honored but only said exclusives would be determined on a case by case basis.

No, they never said that.

The EC has even come out to say microsoft never told them them that.

What was always said was that current games would stay and future games would be a case by case basis.

So MS got caught trying to steal multiplatform games and turn them into Xbox exclusives? Just like I knew they were trying to do. :mjpls:

Gotta salute the FTC on this one :salute:

:scust: @ MS being so pathetic in the exclusive department that they have to resort to this. :hhh:
The FTC effectivly lied.
Similar complaints were leveled against Microsoft back in November, when the EU launched its full investigation into the acquisition. Its words against the FTC stop just short of saying the US regulatory board is lying about its claims against the game publisher.

Here, the EU has argued that neither Starfield or Redfall can be used as examples of withholding content, as Microsoft has frequently indicated both titles would be Xbox exclusive. "Microsoft didn't make any 'commitments' to EU regulators not to release Xbox-exclusive content following its takeover of ZeniMax Media," the EU told MLex.
