Sh!t, I wish I could tell you. But I know they damn sure aren't from the region they now call Israel. The Bible tells us they usurped the land from the Canaanites and that most scholars (white ones too) will tell you the Hamitic Canaanites were black; They were also cursed according to the Torah and thus they were allowed to be reduced to servitude or eradicated by the Shemitic Jacobites (Israelite Tribes).

None of that pertains to their status of Zionists as colonists.

A colony is a territory under the immediate political control of a state, distinct from the home territory of the sovereign. That state is the colonists' mother country.

So I ask again, if Zionists are colonists, what is their mother country?

What I meant was, if antisemitism exists or has been historically pervasive, then it doesn't matter if other groups are discriminated against. That doesn't have anything to do with whether or not the Holocaust should be remembered or whether French people should be reminded of it.

And all of that is fine.

By all means, air all of the dirty laundry in the textbooks. Just don't blame Jews if your textbook is incomplete, and don't pretend like you're "constantly reminded" of the Holocaust, when in reality you're appropriately reminded of Jewish persecution and just aren't reminded of other discrimination at all.

Jews are not to blame for that. French right wingers, who were globally guilted into acknowledging the Holocaust, but not their shenanigans in Africa, are the real culprit there.

It's not about blaming Jews, it's a criticism against contemporary media and "the establishment" and examining why these inconsistencies in how issues are portrayed continue to take place.

Read this thread again and tell me if you still think it's "not about" blaming the Jews.

Excellent question. Im going to say that because their state was created by the British (England, Scotland and Wales) govt, which is a constitutional monarchy, that the Zionist are actually colonist of the British Crown.

:comeon:

Wrong. Britain has never exercised control over the sovereign state of Israel. Israeli citizens are not subjects of the British crown or Parliament.

The Jordanian state was also created by British mandate. Are Jordanians colonists of the British crown?

Try again.

Please stop with the technical bullshyt arguements. The fact of the matter is that the Zionist state regularly victimizes and abuses the human rights of the Palestinian and African people in Israel. This is not a matter of textbook definitions of words. This is a matter of right and wrong. I understand your people have a culture of defending each other, no matter the issue, but i and the rest of the world can see the obvious wrong going on in Israel. Its just a shame that you or the rest of the Zionist refuse to admit it.

Is it fair to question why there are inconsistencies in media coverage of these issues? Is it fair to ask why, as you put it, "the textbooks are incomplete"?

It's not a bullshyt argument whatsoever. Calling someone a "colonist" has huge implications, just like calling someone a "fascist" has huge implications. If Zionists are not colonists, then stop trying to tar them with that brush. Words have been central to the Israeli-Palestinian debate. A good example is the completely inappropriate use of the term "apartheid" when describing Israel.

And no, this is not an "obvious" matter of right and wrong. The only bullshytters in this situation are people who try to turn it into a binary situation of oppressor and oppressed, without understanding the history of Jewish migration to the region and why they were initially encouraged by Arab leaders (yes, Arab leaders) to come there in the first place.

What and who are you questioning? The media?

When you have a guy on stage, dressed in a holocaust uniform wearing a yellow star, who is it that you are "questioning?"

People use buzzwords like "the banks" and "the media" to shyt on Jews and have done so for centuries.

How about an answer without a question? I asked simple yes or no questions.

Yes, it's fair.

But you have to have critical thinking skills and ask yourself, "Based on the nature of this performance, Is he actually questioning 'the media'?"

So again, when you have a guy on stage, dressed in a holocaust uniform wearing a yellow star, who is it that you are "questioning?"

When you have people doing his salute in front of synagogues and taking selfies...when he himself is supporting antisemitic candidates...what is it that he's questioning?
