yeah thats pretty much what I got from it too.
To me, he's pointing out his view on how our media portrays mass suffering, he is not taking a shot at Jewish people or anything, just an observation.
maybe its just the way they presented it in that news clip. i didnt see them do it live at the game, but it wouldnt surprise me if that gesture did resemble the nazi salute in some way to some peoplethat shyt is not close to being a nazi salute.
im still not even clear on what it actually means. i guess the soccer player said "anti-establishment" ?

This guy has made jokes about pretty much every group out there. Blacks, Whites, Arabs, Muslims and so on but when he made a joke about Jews the Nazi Police came through the buildings and hit him with the good old anti-Semitism accusations 
This guy went on a show and asked the host why one of the most famous French comedian (a cac) can make a joke about Blacks and slavery without being checked but talk about Jews and everybody is like
The host told him that Jews went through a lot of suffering
, my dude lost it and told him Black people went through a lot worse. The host tried to switch subject real quick but my man wouldn't have it

Lol @ at this guy whining about "constantly being reminded" of Jewish history. I seriously doubt anyone in France is "constantly reminded" of anything related to centuries of rampant French antisemitism.
Reminds me of white Americans complaining about reverse racism.
