:dead::dead::dead:....son you gotta do better than this....

lmao this dude been using the same exact flow when no one knew him to now.....
just say you have biases to a specific kind of rapper cause this for sure doesnt touch gibbs at his peak.
and i like benny....but his lack of versatility stands out compared to gibbs....and im talking about his entire discography

He’s still better than Gibbs

you're extremely biased to one type of sound. heavy soul samples, simple flows with slick talk and wittiness in a pretty unoriginal way. it feels like benny the butcher is trying to turn reasonable doubt as an album and recreate it for his entire career....(then again the nikka first song that really took off was '97 hov :mjlol:) i mean the nikka music group is called black soprano family. he just does this mafioso thing...and he does it really fukking well.

gibbs can and has rapped proficiently in all manners of production styles with different flows melodies for well over a decade. a lot of you are caught up on his work with just the legendary producers. mans was on HEAVY 808 trap type shyt to extremely abstract madlib....to more traditional soul sample use...to god damn g funk from cardo and worlds freshest...and makes it work seamlessly. Working with artists from virtually every region and not being out of place on a record. The nikka be singing hooks man. they arent in the same realm in terms of versatility.
you like that cold winter moving packs out the trunk in virginia music.........gibbs can do that and a lot more. gonna sound like i'm hyping gibbs a lot but the nikka is nice :yeshrug:

Bruh I'm a fan of Benny and I know his catalogue extremely well....none of this is touching Freddie's best work....

Gibbs ain’t all that, he’s also monotonous. Some good moments but nothing special at all.

i honestly feel like its just wasting time in the who's better debate. nobody opinion is gonna change.
exactly it’s no point of even going back and forth about, different preferences.

im a fan of both but Gibbs hasn’t dropped nothing in 2 years, but acts like a bitter bm on social media.

if you think this you've legit only heard madlib produced albums and alchemist.
you cant say this and have heard, cold day in hell, str8killa, pronto ep, bfk, you only live 2wice, shadow of a doubt, tonite show, esgn. the boy be belting out bone thugs-esque melodies(:mjlol:) and you stuck on dude merging jadakiss with mafioso hov for 8 straight projects :francis:
they both are nice. gibbs just has way more shyt in his bag.

I heard the Piñata album, it was ok but Benny is way more raw with the pen. There’s a reason why Jay acknowledged him.

yeah, if your introduction to gibbs is that point and never venturing from there...theres no point in engaging. i know i've listened to benny 300x more than you've ever listened to gibbs.
it's just best to agree to disagree lol....cause you're speaking from a perspective of limited knowledge

Straight out the fukkin' dungeons of rap
and as far as rapping these two take different approaches. Benny comes from the LOX school of slick talk and East coast vibes and Freddie comes from the BTNH school of faster more dynamic flowing with a more direct approach. stop trying to judge one paradigm of the other. you wouldn't say Krayzie bone isnt that good because he doesnt have punchlines like Jada. Makes no sense.

I’ve heard his stuff with Jeezy too, even that record he had with Eminem on the hook that leaked. He’s good but lacking something to really get the recognition.
