Dude’s a dumbass, you could tell Benny was genuinely disappointed as hell he did that corny shyt

I believe this is the exact quote of what he said. I think something is wrong with that nikka Freddie. Made no sense for him to diss Benny when they did some good work together. He just moves like a cornball off the mic and it's a shame cause he can rap but he is a sucker.

Spitta one of the coolest most down to earth out there, I look at people who have issues with him with a extra side eye. I remember when he was bugging on Spitta online a few years ago over it and it looked like homie was really, really looking forward to pushing it as a main dish instead of the side dish Curren$y was treating it like. I think the disappointment stemmed mostly from that like "nikka how you treating this shyt like a appetizer and I'm out here treating it like the main course?"

The thing is Spitta output and touring was already crazy at the time, so you could see why he would view it like that.

Fir what it’s worth I thought Gibbs had a pretty big fanbase though ever since Piñata especially. That opened a lot of doors for him.

Spitta doesn't really curate optimally and ends up leaving a lot of cultural impact on the table. He just raps and releases these days

Compare this to Gibbs and what he puts into promoting a project. He's doing videos, leaning into his comedic skills, developing at least a minimal visual aesthetic for the project. I can see where miscommunication and different approaches would frustrate Gibbs

Fetti is a classic with no videos, not even a tour and that shyt is shame because it's criminally slept on

Griselda has raised the bar for indie curation and aesthetic attached to projects. Just releasing shyt and moving on is like throwing away the pot of spaghetti the next day.

Look at a nikka like Larry June and all the work he's put into the entire package. The orange, the vlogs and the visual themes of his projects. He stepped into the Spitta lane and is on fire right now.

Ironically 2009-2014 Spitta kinda paved the way for indie curation with his artwork and lifestyle/work vids shot by CJ Wallis. Not to mention his earlier Creative Control work

Imagine Gibbs talent for comedy and skits combined with those JerntswithSpitta/Jetflix aesthetics accompanying Fetti

It's sad that a classic like that came and went
