For the first time South Africa ANC party loses election

Technically apartheid doesn’t seem to have left. The wealth is still concentrated with white elites. Neighborhoods are still segregated in terms of infrastructure and education. ANC created an artifice of leadership but it’s been rife with grift and impotence. They let some Indian family come in and run the government for years and now look…just heartbreaking.

Before 1913 act and later Apartheid black people owned most of the land. During Apartheid black people basically lost 95% of the land. Now the black population has been slowly regaining.

Life expectancy for black people, in 1994, was 48 years old. While life expectancy for whites was already 70 years. Life expectancy for black South Africans is now 60 years old.

Plus, it was still during apartheid that the white government started intentionally infecting black citizens with HIV. South Africa's HIV rate in 1990 was 0.7%. In 1994, or 4 years later, it was around 8%...Conscious that they would lose political power and later economic power, they thought that infecting black South Africans with many diseases would actually reduce the black population...It completely backfired on them.

You run the same on literacy, housing, land, healthcare etc and the result is always the same. Black South Africans are better now and will be way better when land is successfully returned(See Botswana).

In no place on earth the majority is supposed to depend on a minority that illegally took lands and disfranchised the majority with the support of a major power like the UK. Only in South Africa people want to act like this is normal and has no influence on the huge income inequality the country faces now.

There is no land that black people are regaining under the ANC, it only talks about Land Reform during elections and stops when their over it has passed no Land Reform or expropriation laws even when they had two thirds majority to change the Constitution. ANC leaders have secured their own farms. If black South Africans are better off now, then were is the xenophobia coming from against African migrants? South Africa's unemployment rate is the highest in the world so forget about any economic transformation in it's current format.
