I keep seeing this blake griffin to the heat BS on the heat fan IG accts :dame:

I dont wanna waste mad cap space on this nikka :hhh:
He cool but not for no max or close to max money foh :camby:

I'll take Blake over resigning Waiters and Johnson.

We don't have many options and the current team isn't going anywhere. Charlotte made the playoffs last year and ar drafting lower than us.

Don't put faith in bits and pieces teams

I think Spo has earned the benefit of the doubt in terms of maximizing star player's potential. BG aint a top choice for me but I'm not going to act like he wouldn't make us a better team.

On Waiters/JJ: Two things that are understated, continuity and leadership. I love JJ's leadership, he's a gatekeeper of the culture and you need guys like that in the lockeroom. If it wasn't for UD's leadership last year we probably bottom out, which is cool for the tank crew..yall get a top 3 pick but with no FA's wanting to come here and none of our current FA's wanting to stay. I'm just hoping we can unload McBob (sorry TJ, you gonna have to get attached to him) so we can resign both of those guys. If it came down to a top FA + only one of Waiters/JJ I might be more inclined to keep JJ if TJ aint dealt, given the resources we already have at the 2. But I'm really hoping we retain both of them, both of them want to be here.

i feel u breh.
but with this current squad (once we got our shyt on track) we had the 2nd best reg season record across the entire league since january. Only better squad was the warriors. That means we did better than the clippers who got BG and CP3.

We wouldve made the playoffs if we got it together sooner. And i think our winning % can largely carry over to next season as presently constructed.

Im not saying blake is trash by any means. I just dont wanna blow precious cap space on one whale thats not gonna make us a legit contender.

We just finnessed out way out of a shytty cap space situation, we gotta approach this next move strategically :whoa:

I understand, but if we're tying up 30 mil per between JJ and Dion then Tyler already on deck for 20 next year, cap is out of our hands after this Summer. This is probably the last chance for a "max" player this decade.

It's up to y'all, but I'd go Donovan Mitchell or Zach Collins even if I don't trust them lanky lotto picks. Mitchell might be Dion 2.0 but at 14 what can you do

Edit- just realized all them nikkas got mentioned

We need a 4 badly and if Blake is healthy he would be a great fit, but that's a big if and a sizable risk for max money

Ill take him but no max money. Pat gotta do the big 3 rings on the table trick and tell that nikka take 3 yr 17m a year with a player option or a 1+1 to prove his health. Can reward a dude that aint been in the culture yet
