Just extend J Rich now for the low before he gets 15+ mil from Philly next summer. If we're going to win within the next 2 years, our depth and defense is going to a big reason why. Sure we have no one on this roster who can lock up Bron(which no NBA player can), but we have several wings who can shoot and/or defend.

Btw Blake didn't make the All NBA team, that means we have a punchers chance at signing him since he can't get the super max this summer. Getting Blake likely means no JJ and Dion, but we can fukk around and win the East with him, especially if Blake continues to take and make 3's.
Agreed with extending JRich before he hits the open market. And before the season I was all for getting Blake this offseason, I think he'd be a great fit. But those injury problems have me second thinking that. Couple that with the fact that his athleticism is only gonna go down as he gets older and I'm not sure it's worth the risk

U don't pay attention :snoop: cause if u did u would know that JJ and Dion are open to a paycut if we can bring in a star

Edit: the rest of your post was on point tho

We only have 30-35 mil in cap space even with Bosh's money cleared. Blake will make about 30 mil next year, Riley is a good finesser, but Waiters and JJ are not playing for 2.5 mil.

If the Heat clear an additional 18 mil(McBob; Tyler, and Ellington all make about 6mil), then yeah maybe we get Blake; JJ, and Dion.

It doesn't matter breh, team is too far gone. Once Riley dreaded the tank, only thing left is try to win. There's not that many legit options to improve, you have to go after Blake if he's there. If Blake is an albatross so be it, the future doesn't really matter given the stance is to win now.

He can come in 2018 or he can take his punk ass out to LA, Im not giving up anything before then knowing he can walk

Beggars can't be choosers :hubie:
We don't have that many options to improve, and we're desperate to win. This core's best shot to win is next season, Dragic is 31, and a couple of our wings are set for raises next summer.

We can possibly get PG and later Blake in FA, clearing 18 mil(Tyler; McBob, and Ellington make 6 mil) gives us enough money to sign Blake while having George. I know you hate PG, but we can potentially have 2 All Star players with decent depth to support them.

Even if Blake curves us, more than likely we can resign JJ and Dion. George with JJ and Dion isn't ideal, however we can still fukk around and win the East. I know George will be a rental, but the window to win isn't that large, so you have to heavily consider it.
