My ideal offseason:

- Start Hurts in 2022.

- Sign an impact Free Agent wide receiver (Juju, OBJ, Chark, Robinson, Williams).

- Trade one of the 2022 1st Round picks for a 2023 1st.

- Go defense-heavy in the draft with the two remaining 1st Round picks + the 2nd.

This way, the Eagles get another season to develop Hurts and improve the weapons around him while also giving themselves some ammo to move up in 2023, should Hurts ultimately not work out. And with two other 1sts as well as a 2nd, they’ll still have a chance to target some young, badly-needed defensive prospects.

15. Philadelphia Eagles (from Miami) — Tyler Linderbaum, OC, Iowa

Obviously, this selection is based on the future of Jason Kelce, who just earned his fourth All-Pro nod. Even if he returns for his age 35 season in 2022, Kelce would be the ideal mentor for Linderbaum, who has exceptional quickness and a nasty streak to dominate defenders.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (from Indianapolis) — Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

With Steven Nelson headed for free agency, cornerback could be a need for the Eagles this offseason. Booth is a terrific athlete and can make plays on the ball — the two most important traits when scouting the position. Booth also has above-average downhill skills to drive and blow up plays near the line of scrimmage.

19. Philadelphia Eagles — George Karlaftis, edge, Purdue

The Eagles’ defensive end depth chart will likely look wildly different next season, and Karlaftis would be a welcomed addition. The Purdue pass rusher doesn’t have elite length or twitch, but he is relentless and strong with hand work that is not only violent but also well-timed and strategic to defeat blockers.

51. Philadelphia Eagles — Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming
First mock from Brugler.

Keep Hurts for an extra year to see if he improves. Take those draft picks get defense and if Hurts suck prepare for 2023.

This- keep Hurts
if you can trade Minshew- trade him
use a mid round pick on a QB (thinking Zappe as a backup...potential low end starter)
trade one of those picks to get a 2023 first rounder in case we need a real QB

Just saw Jalen announced as Starter for 2022 by Howie and Nick. You don't lead your team to the Playoffs in a rebuilding year and lose your job. SMH. Good because this whole Wilson/Rodgers/Watson etc talk doesn't make sense to me. All of them will be expensive and having 3 1st round picks is like hitting the lottery for the Draft. This is the perfect chance to enhance the team. Anyways, take that draft capitol and please build this defense. Also hit FA because we need to shake up that WR room with a Vet.

I agree with all of this but them saying this publicly doesn't really mean much. There's not a doubt that if Watson were to suddenly become available for Jalen and a 1st or a similarly relatively good deal, he'd be out of Philly on the first thing smoking. You can't openly shyt on your QB or say you're exploring upgrades, if for nothing else that it diminishes your negotiating leverage for trades or FA offers.
