Just like that people want Hurts gone again :unimpressed:
He's flawed but there are no stud QBs in this coming draft and drafting someone would essentially be starting back at 0, at least Hurts is "developing" and showing progress.
Give him till the end of his rookie deal to prove whether or not he deserves $20mil+ a year. In the meantime build a solid team around him. Maybe next year with more talent we can actually beat playoff caliber teams

And the people saying cut Reagor, must not realize dude is a top 3 WR on the Eagles at worst. The people behind Reagor are pure trash and even worse believe it or not. How many years in a row can the Eagles invest a high pick in a WR? Eagles selecting another WR early made us miss out on a generational LB. We probably are stuck with this WR core for another year as it's other areas of the team to focus on

I've been critical of Hurts but like you said, unless you're gonna get Watson, I don't think there are any better options out there so why not give him another year. Wilson and Rodgers are a bit too old for me and I don't think this team's timelines fit their schedule's. And cutting Raegor is just addition by subtraction at this point. He literally adds nothing to this team.

That year we had Hicks for part of the year, Bradham and Kendricks. They were all above average I think. It's not a coincidence that was our last really good defensive year.

They really need to stop neglecting that position.

Hicks was a above avg lb but i am referring to the playoff run, he was hurt.
Bradham was an avg lb, kendricks was solid but missed open tackles and blew assignments

Again, i never said lb isnt an issue but i think the dline is just as much of an issue if not more

100% this on both Jalens.

Raegor does NOTHING well. Nada. Zero. Zilch.

Greg Ward and Quez at least give you something. Hell, even garbage ass JJAW can give you special team depth or his HOF caliber downfield blocking (:comeon:). Putting Raegor on the field inhibits the team. He actually makes you worse.

Nobody on Earth believes he'd even still be on the team if he weren't a first-round pick. The fact that Travis Fulgham, fluke or not, was released and not Raegor is proof of that. His career high receiving yards in a game is 57.

57 :gucci:. For a first round WR given multiple opportunities to show he belongs in the NFL.

Reads as if you are saying that you recognize the LB corps is doo doo, among the most doo doo in the league, but based on the weight the DL has comparative to the LB corps, the DL should take precedence?

Am I reading that right? Or are you just straight up saying apples to apples that the DL is shyttier than the LB corps?

We really got so many holes on defense. Linebacker been neglected since Trotter was on the team. Barnett is basically the Raegor of the defense, a walking mistake. Could probably use a safety and corner depth once since Nelson will probably be walking.

More I think about it, the more idiotic it would be to trade all that draft capital when we could really turn around this defense with potentially cheap talent. Just need Howie to hit on the picks :francis:

I said before the season, the only way Hurts will be successful is to have talent all around him the same way he did at Bama. He can't elevate a middle of the pack team into a top 8 team. He's too reliant on other ppl making him look good. Won't be surprised if the front office takes that approach. 2 of the first 5 picks used to bolster the offense and a FA signing that brings vet stability.

I'd much rather have Watson with a legit WR2, and see what this offense is capable of.

Bingo....our LB are trash- I recognize that- but I think our Dline is trash to...if I am the GM....If I have to pick a player and its either a stud DE or a stud LB, im probably taking DE (so is Howie btw) but that doesnt mean I wont draft a LB with my next pick- whether its in the 1st round or second-

I want a defense like SF- they have Bosa but they also have Fred Warner- we can have both
