She will be. In the comics, Shuri, T'Challa's sister, became Black Panther for awhile.

Any drama could have been avoided if they simply did a recast of T'Challa. I understand respecting and honoring Chadwick Boseman but the character is much bigger than one actor.

I see people still going back and forth every day about whether or not they should have recast T'Challa and honestly, at this point, the film is in the can and there is nothing that can be done now. Do I think they should’ve recast? Yes. Am I irked that Marvel didn’t listen to Chadwick’s family who also wanted the role to be recast and have T’Challa’s story to go on?* Yes. But it’s over and done now. It’s coming out next month. I’m not even sure if I’m even going to see it tbh. I'm not really that hyped for it.
