You dont gotta download the full game just enough to launch it with is like 10gb i think.
Gonna dig into it this weekend and try to clear up this backlog. Is the Yuffie event taking place during any specific chapter or completely stand alone?

Finally decided to cop this and the combat system is trash so far. I really hate the hack and slash rpg hybrid combat system in these modern final fantasy games.
Dragon quest 11 >>>>
Persona 5 is the best rpg combat
Persona is definitely the best turn base combat I've played in a long time.Dragon quest XI’s combat is soooooo basic and dull especially for 100+ hours

DQ11 combat was great in classic mode.
If you played in that walk around combat mode you lost.

Both combats are good. I mean the whole walk-around thing was pointless AF. In 3D you can be riskier than the 2d combat. Although 2d combat is great, people gotta admit that they will have to play differently in 2D and they don't want to adjust.
I kind of cringe when people skip Tickington because it is only in 2d. So much content in that area.
On another note, while P5's combat is very good its biggest flaw is that it's too easy. DQ 11 on hard mode was a blast because it was a challenge from the start of the game to the end of the game.
Tbh Ys and Trails in the Sky (granted I just started the series) have had my favorite combat system out of JRPG's. Also after coming back to Remake it is up their too tbh.
You speaking a different language to me because I played DQ11 at launch on PS4 before they had a 2D mode.
I was talking about in the settings how you can turn it to classic turn based and dont have to do the walk around ATB type mode that feels janky as fukk.
understanding events as they occur (timeline) v speculation on changes to previous character themes (tifa) ....?Take your own advice breh
