This. Dudes acting like they would be knee-capping dudes from 100 meters.I work in an industry that we carry handguns. You would be BAFFLED at how inaccurate most people are with a handgun (ex military people im referring to). Its a combination of a few things...a) any experienced handgun shooters in here know how difficult it is to be proficient beyond 15 yards b) a lot of these guys are just not good shots....almost like shooting threes...u can teach all u want, but u either have that touch or you don't
u add in stress to the situation, and its a mess...im sure this shooting was closer, but with the stress its tough to aim right

I salute you for posting because that is something that hasn't been mentioned enough on this forum at least, being how much of a role fear and stress play in the use of deadly force. I try to be fair to both cops and my own. Truth be told, I don't envy cops, would not want their job at all. We're all too quick to buy into the narrative that the pigs are itching to unload a clip, but that's not fair. Those rogues are out there, but I imagine they're a minority compared to the mistrained and average inexperienced joe just trying to make it through the day. For that average joe, fear, stress, testosterone, etc. has got to be a trip.
CNN’s Don Lemon: National Guard Soldier Used N-Word In Ferguson (VIDEO)

- (AllHipHop News) Racism still alive and they aren’t even concealing it. During a segment on CNN last night (August 19th), journalist Don Lemon shared a story from one of the show’s producer about a soldier of the national guard using a racist epitaphs in Ferguson, M.O.
In less than a week since Michael Brown’s controversial killing last Saturday (August 16th) and the subsequent demonstrations, Ferguson, M.O. has experienced an influx of National Guard officers as well as local law enforcement. Lemon recounted a story from one of his producers about racist remarks made by one of those National Guard soldiers:
I’m just going to be honest with you. Last night, one of my producers said that they — I won’t say if it’s a he or she, because I don’t want to give anyone away — said they came in contact with one of the members of the National Guard and that they said, ‘You want to get out of here because you’re white, because these n-words, you never know what they’re going to do.’ True story. I kid you not. 2014, a member of the National Guard. And my producer doesn’t lie. It is a true story.
Days earlier, Lemon was forcibly moved by a Ferguson police officer during a live broadcast on CNN. During the broadcast, in which Lemon is amongst many protestors, he explains how even the right to peaceful protest is being compromised by the police:
You see why people are so upset here. We’ve been here all day, they moved us here and told us this is our location. They’re doing the same thing to the people. We’re on national television, so imagine what they’re doing to people who you don’t see on national TV. Who don’t have a voice like we do.
