for those trying to justify shiet like this, you're supposed use the least amount of force it takes to defend yourself. deadly force is supposed to be a last resort.......

The Ferguson situation is fukked and doesn't apply, and I think they should put the cop under the jail forever. A gunfight or legit deadly force scenario is completely different than all these instances of police executing innocent people left and right.

You mean like where the officer actually got in trouble? None that I can think of.

I was just saying that the training I was speaking about involves situations where 2 people are engaging each other. The stress, the importance of shots to center mass, the inability to aim to wound, and the idea that shooting to kill or wound isn't even relevant. Just that the threat needs to be stopped.

I wasn't trying to make a statement about historical cases. I also wasn't trying to speak on situations where armed citizens or police fire on unarmed people. I was just speaking on gunfights.

Don't know why you've never heard of it, but yeah. Don't think any black cops are doing that, but I'm sure black cops have shot white people. I'd guess unarmed too. But what happens to them? I don't know...

I know it's been said by a lot of people, a lot of times, but not enough. I don't know what it's gotta take for cops to stop murdering and terrorizing people, but god damn. It's 2014. One of my best friends and his dog were murdered by a cop in 2006 when a SWAT team fired a sub-machine gun through the front door as he went to answer it, and they had the wrong person. Just gunned him down, "lost" the front door in the evidence locker, the coroner changed his autopsy report twice, and the cop got away with it...obviously.

It's crazy. I would never call the cops unless I had no other choice. I bet if I called them because someone broke into my house, that they'd find a way to shoot or arrest me. I don't feel safe around them, ever, and I don't feel like they're there to protect or serve me.

I could be wrong, but I think most people share this idea. I used to think it was only a few bad apples, and maybe I'm just getting cynical, but I swear the ONLY people I hear defending the police at this point are actual police, their family members, and maybe their close friends.

Same here, I'm hesitant to call any police.
Last time we called the police at my spot, the idiot was reaching
for his pistol within minutes, trying to flex on the very people who called
him.

According to CNN, Darren Wilson checked into a hospital with a swollen face after the shooting. He did not have a broke eye socket, however as others reported.

He literally makes a living off of bashing anybody that's not white (blacks especially), it's not even newsworthy. If the black cop shot some white kid and it was unjustified obviously that's awful and he should go to jail, but anybody with even a slight sense of context would know why the Ferguson shooting was different. It's also interesting how the white kid in this case had a criminal record (and even had a warrant) but isn't being posthumously accused of being a "thug" or in a gang or whatever.
