pomades, grease and rags are the same as lye perms and suing indian womens hair into your heads now :leon:

btw, i use to do the whole waves thing and all i used was warm water, almond oil and a brush. :mjpls:

Yes, of course you did :russ:

Now we will hear how no Black men buy Dax, Pink Lotion, Do Gro, texturizers, or the like to get their hair that way :leon: It's all a figment of the beauty supply stores imagination. You're right, the only discomfort with the natural pattern of Black hair is Black women. None of the evidence pointing to the same discomfort from Black men counts because...well, they aren't Black women so they can do wtf they want without being criticized :manny:

I wonder though. Why do Black men have so many websites aimed at teaching them how to get "360 waves" when its so natural for them? :ohhh:

Weren't you the same poster who said the Black female newscaster who got fired because of her natural hair deserved it because her hair/her was indeed ugly?

Also, I ventured onto one of the more popular wave sites. These are some of the titles of the first 10 topics:

"Motivation for when you feel like you want to stop brushing" (lolz)
"Dancer, runner with waves??"
"Products"
"Maintaining waves (Help a brother out!)"
And my favorite: "For the nappy headed nikkas! I finally made it! Never give up!"

no, i didn't say she deserved it. i said i understand it. they want women with physical appeal as news reporters, not a woman that's practically bald. being natural does not equate having low hair. black women can grow long hair if they know how to take care of it.

and yet and still, they're still doing it with their own hair. they're not gluing some indian mans scalp into their head.

Nope, just like Black women aren't. If they were, they wouldn't get ridiculous colors and styles with their weaves. They are trying to appear less Black, just like Black men. Mixed men's hair grows out of their scalp the way Black men spend months and years with support groups online trying to get their hair like. Its not ok.

You ain't mixed and you don't have Indian in your family :ld: Wear your hair the way it grows out of your head.

Probably because of hair products, styling, or just because your grows faster than average.

You mean men whose hair is not expected to be long don't put extensions in their hair? You don't say :ohhh:

The fact is, BM do what is the equivalent of what Black women do. The only difference is they do it for male standards of hair, which is obviously going to present itself in a different way.
