You're right, they just wear the new age conk, "waves" instead :heh:

For all the complaining about Black women not keeping it natural, that never gets mentioned. Seriously, look at the way the flatter conks from the back in the day looked and compare it to today's "360 waves". Its the same exact thing. There are not many Black men rocking their natural hair either. Of course they are not rocking weave because men's hair is not expected to be long, but they are changing their natural texture just as much as BW. Or they are cutting it all off to the point where you can't even perceive its texture.

But its popular to pretend its something only Black women suffer from while Black men remained free of buying into any European standards of beauty for themselves and for Black women............... :pachaha:

Again, why no one takes y'all seriously :manny: You want something to be a BW's issue when its a community problem. You don't want an honest discussion, you want to shame somebody, a few of you have already admitted as much.
What a fuccing moron man lol.

they can write it off as hate, just like i'll write them off as self-hating :yeshrug:

and how is weave convenient or protective of their natural hair? another black woman lie :heh:

:what: You don't know much about hair do you?

I wore weave (sew ins) all last year as a protective style so I could grow out my natural hair without doing a big chop. Since my hair was half relaxed/half natural I couldn't do too much to it without it breaking. I could style the hair how ever I wanted to, while my real hair was protected.

Now my hair is completely natural & I don't have that little ass afro that most newly natural women have because they cut their hair because they couldn't handle the two textures. :heh:

You should seriously start a blog about this, you're nailing it. Start a Youtube channel/Facebook, a blog or something on this subject. I will guarantee you people will be staying tune to this.

I already have a youtube and radio show. I'm over the whole thing now though. Only situations can change. People will always remain the same.
Live and let die!

oh yea, i forgot the kenyadoll arguement. waves are also the black male form of self hate :leon:

even though it's a hair style exclusive to black hair texture that only we can achieve.

Yes. Achieve thru rigorous brushing, slathering of pomades and greases, and wearing rags on your heads originally made for females......:heh:

The "wave" style, commonly worn by young Africa-American men and teens in the 2000s may be considered to be a new version of the conk, in that the natural hair is waved through use of pomades and pressing flattened curls [formed] into place using a do rag.

Black man, your hair don't grow our your head that way  And stop cutting it all off so nobody can see the texture

i guess i don't know much about black hair. but i know y'all wouldn't have to do "the big chop" if y'all stopped fukking with it.

Stop the c00nery my nicca, and educate your women about this disgusting culture.

:wrist:

:childplease: how you figure?

xgb5ep.jpg

let 80% of black men walk around like this and black women would be the first ones to throw a fit

Comparing yourself to women? :wrist:

So is it lesbo for women to worry about how their men look? So a dude can walk up to you looking a mess and it's ok?

It's NOT just the weaves. It's the psychological damage involved that creates the mentality of "I can be 300 pounds and smell like shyt but as long as I have a weave in I'm beautiful."

I think women are taking this to an emotional arena rather than the logical one. If there was no inferiority complex involved I don't think weaves would even matter.

It's not about the weaves. It's about the fukking MENTALITY!

Ad homs? I really don't care anymore. I have genuine concern for the psychological effects of that shyt but it really doesn't matter. I don't even mess with that "demographic"

of women anyway.
