Black men need to really give up on trying to get the culture to change. Just go after the real thing and not the cheap imitation. And by the real thing I don't just mean the white men who black women are imitating. I also mean black women with natural hair.
If every black man ONLY went for black women with natural hair then black women with weaves would either "go" natural or just go extinct and leave their ideologies dead with them.
That's the same thing I tell women with thugs. If you don't want a bunch of thugs running around, don't date them. Eventually those thugs will either get their shyt together to be appealing again or they will fall off the face of the Earth.
You cannot complain about a behavior and then reward someone who is engaging in that behavior. It's condoning and encouraging that behavior.

the problem isn't solved though.if y'all can't wear your own hair, you can't complain about not being seen as beautiful. can't complain about brothers dating non-black women. really can't women can't complain about shyt long as they wearing indian hair hats.
to me, it's an admission that black women feel they can't compete with other races of women in terms of beauty. it's sad black women feel their own natural features aren't beautiful. they just keep passing that self hatred down from mother to daughter to son effects the race as a whole. but keep on going with the "it's just hair" keep on making koreans wealthy off y'all insecurities.
You get all this from a hairstyle? My hair is natural right now but if I go get a weave later on today, that means I'm insecure, I don't think my features are beautiful, and I can't complain about anything? I guess it isn't possible that women wear weave for convenience, as a protective style, or because they have a hard time growing their real hair when it's not in weave.
I'm sure a lot of bw wear weave because they're insecure about their natural hair but their's nothing you can do about that. If weave makes them feel better about themselves, their not gonna stop wearing it. They will only write off everything you say as hate.

It's NOT just the weaves. It's the psychological damage involved that creates the mentality of "I can be 300 pounds and smell like shyt but as long as I have a weave in I'm beautiful."
I think women are taking this to an emotional arena rather than the logical one. If there was no inferiority complex involved I don't think weaves would even matter.

For all the complaining about Black women not keeping it natural, that never gets mentioned. Seriously, look at the way the flatter conks from the back in the day looked and compare it to today's "360 waves". Its the same exact thing. There are not many Black men rocking their natural hair either. Of course they are not rocking weave because men's hair is not expected to be long, but they are changing their natural texture just as much as BW. Or they are cutting it all off to the point where you can't even perceive its texture.
But its popular to pretend its something only Black women suffer from while Black men remained free of buying into any European standards of beauty for themselves and for Black women...............
