Nah this aint a record year in Seattle, Milwaukee, or Dallas...

Dallas in its heyday was dropping 500 bodies a year, Seattle was pushing 100...

What we are seeing is, after a decade or so of reduced violent crime rates in most cities, shyt is going back up, but that really started around '16 or so, its just exploding in '20. Some of those cities you mentioned are setting records bit they are in the minority, most places aren't at record pace of where they were in the 80s or 90s---->its just compared to recent history (past 10-15 years), cities haven't been this wild in awhile...

Those cities still in the minority, you know how big this country is and how many cities are in the US. Its only making news because most of the nation was on the downswing in yhe 00s and 10s...

The vast majority of cities aren't setting records. Nowhere in Texas, California, Virginia, Carolinas, Vegas, DC, Georgia, nowhere in Fla besides Jax, Arizona, I can go on and on. The relative handful of cities setting records in this era are the ones repeatedly getting press. Most places are going up, but aren't on record pace...

It’s a concerning trend and all the cities in those states you mentioned their cities murder rate has increased dramatically this year and has been increasing the past couple of years.
