Apart of his appeal is being an authentic street nikka and that’s who he actually is. Hard for nikkas like that to break habits. Cass is a bid older too so it was something he wasn’t trying to leave alone, nikkas like that always have crews and shyt to muscle around situations that regular security probably cant(checking in, issues with other rappers, cliques etc) I do agree at some point, nikkas need to separate themselves from street gangs especially in New York but unfortunately for a lot of rappers, that realization doesn’t come untill shyt like this happens.

I think nikkas look too much at chicago and down south and try the same shyt over here. NY is a whole different ball game when it comes to these situations and law enforcement

lil Durk and all those chicago nikkas would have been in jail if they were NY rappers living the same life and this is assuming they even made it before they got locked up

And the worst part about it is, when gangsta rappers go down, mad people show love, and in their minds, they think that squares live a wack life because they lack the social clout that they get-from good times and bad. Pretty much, they get rewarded for doing dirt in all kinds of ways. :snoop:

NYPD hates when criminals call themselves “Untouchable”.

You can be a hardcore rapper without having these street/law enforcement problems.

The issue is the gang affiliations. And how you portray yourself. Does your personality have an "off" button. The word energy is overused but it matters. What type of energy do you surround yourself with N put into the universe

You're not relegated to rapping like kanye, drake, kendrick, j cole etc

Ice cube Nas Jay Dmx Scarface Bun B among others have had more than 20 yr careers as street/hardcore/gangsta rappers
The affiliations are only a small part of the issue, its how you move. There are plenty of rappers (known and unknown) with affiliations or active memberships in gangs. But if you're a serious business person or musician, you won't be in the turf nearly as often because you'll be working. You have to deal with the internal politics of that, but that's easier than having to duck the boys.

Snitchnine's hard work done paid off :francis:
Anyone that joins a gang, crew, organization, can easily get a "conspiracy charge" whether your role was big or small in the organization. Also, the feds will watch your crew have their little"couple years" running the streets and then snatch you up. It happens all the time . With club or show money slowing down people looking to eat :yeshrug:
Damm just last year watching Casanova at JayZ exclusive parties loving the highlife now facing prison again:mjcry::sadcam:

If you really a street nikka why would you want to be a rapper and celebrity? All that does is bring attention from the law and opps.

Labels work with the gov to feed the justice system.

a lot of people will get paid taking a piece out of his ass

There's an endless supply of gangs trying to legitimize dope money with artistry.
