I’m from Brooklyn a place where stars are born.
It is hard to do that. A lot of violence is revenge. It’s hard to make peace when your brother or best friend’s murderer’s are still breathing. And not only that they stay dissing him on social media and rap songs. The natural thing is get revenge. Then you kill one of their homies then they get revenge. Then it becomes a back and forth shyt that never ends. Soon it spreads to the next generation. The OGs from the 90s and 2000s failed these youth. And their OGs from 70s and 80s failed them. Gave them nothing but gang banging.

That song hit different and he gained a lot of popularity (or notoriety, depending on how you look at it) since those other songs. And it’s been 6 yrs since he dropped “Right Now” and people around him have died or been shot between that song and this latest one so I’m not trying to hear that like no incidents have taken place . He was shot before a few years ago. Duck lost KI, Tyquan,Dooski, Melly, Wooski,Cantgetright And his other associates - they’ve been gunning for him. Retaliation for retaliation, his most “popular” song that put him into mainstream looks- “slide” he wasn’t direct dissing like he did on this one.

shyt like this is why I couldn't fully enjoy the drill scene.
