There’s a whole thread asking specifically why we’d rock the American flag, so yea, folks saying rock the American flag and no one will care are not being truthful, as that thread was mixed with all different types of black groups.

The op of the thread asked a question. It might have been ignorant but i don't see it necessarily as him having a problem with y'all doing it but more of why given the nation's history. I grew up on the East Flatbush Brownsville border where two of the largest Caribbean and Black American populations live side by side and of course you had issues but no one was on some hating shyt like implied here.

Even within the Caribbean community, you'll have your little rivalries or static between trinis, jamaicans, haitians, guyanese, and other small island people but at the end of the day, it was all good.
