Those mitigating factors you are omitting are the amount of calories required for your body to function AND to perform normal everyday activities.
Consume 3X calories on Monday, start fast at midnight and then try to perform your daily tasks for Tuesday and Wednesday.
You are saying that as far my body concerned, it's the same as consuming X amount of calories on Mond,Tues, and Wed.
I disagree. Body would have an easier time adapting to fewer calories consumed day by day then to abruptly NONE.
