It's interesting that so far every season has involved one organisation swallowing another smaller one - the first season, I believe the police district was being merged. In the second season Mike Milligan and them trying to take over the Gerhard family business, and this season we've got Stussy Lots being taken over and the police dept. being swallowed up by a larger force.

I never thought of it before but Hawley might be making his bid to be the Tarantino of TV. Telling wild ass, connected stories, re-using actors in different roles and jumping genres at will
