This episode had two major flaws. Dunst didn't hear Dodd break out of the ropes?

And fat Damon have an extra lung or some shyt...he was hanging there forever and didn't die. So unrealistic. Also hanzee letting Dunst cut his hair with a pair of scissors smh thought the Indian was smarter than that.

it actually takes like 3-5 minutes to die from hanging like that....most lynchings are quick because the neck snaps

Any chance that the "Flying Saucer" is from the future? At one point, the narrator says that Hanzee's motivation puzzled historians for decades. I know the show takes place 36 years ago, but that seems a little short for "historians" to be involved. Maybe the book we see at the beginning was written a hundred years in the future, and the Flying Saucer contains time travelers trying to observe history and accidentally changing it.
