Nah man Peggy and Ed have gotten beaten up multiple times and they always in the middle of the fukkery every episode. And barley make it out alive. Ed is only alive cuz Hanzee ran out of bullets in the cabin, and Dodd almost hung him. Peggy had to fight off three nikkas in that basement.

Whenever there's danger headed Mike's way he wins easily or he isn't there at all (killing the undertaker before he murked him, getting the call from Ed, when Hank pulled him & the kitchen bros over, he misses the Gerhardts ambush in the woods where Bulo and Kansas City got slaughtered, killing Ottos men and nurse at the hospital, shooting up the house, showing to hotel after the Gerhardts and the cops were dead already.) if him and kitchen arrived in time for the fukkshyt at the hotel they would've have been killed by Gerhardts or walked into the cops setup.

Think about this, amongst all the violence this season. Mike has never been shot/shot at, stabbed, or harmed physically in anyway. Even Lou, Hank and to a degree Hanzee have more L's than Mike.

no black character in a predominantly white show has had more flawless wins than mike has so far in tv history. the finale must be really bad for him to make up for this prior excellence.

this is very definition of luck though.

killing the undertaker wasn't luck, that took skill. yeah, milligan has had some luck thrown his way as well, but nothing is topping ed and peggys run. they should have died in episode 2.

The narrator and the story book opening was a great touch. :yes:

I wonder if Mike Milligan and Hanzee see 'eye to eye' in the finale. Since both are men who work(ed) for other people in a certain profession and those other people don't really respect them.

Hanzee set the massacre up, dude is a tactician. He just sat back like :hmm: until somebody yelled "IT'S ALL COPS!"

Mama Gerhardt looked at Hanzee like "Et tu brute?" and Hanzee went ":hmm:"
