:mjlol: YOU JUST DESCRIBED CHAPPELLE.

BIGGER AND BLACKER >>>
ANY MAJOR STAND UP SINCE EDDIE.

I know for a fact Chappelle chills with black people because I live in the same neighborhood. Went to high school with one of his friends. I've even seen him at the local dives.
Maybe I'm biased though.

I'm just saying you don't have to be silly to be funny. If you can't sit on a stool and perform your whole set without jumping around and flaying your arms about, you're just a gimmicky act to me.
Ya'll probably like Jim Carrey's standup more than George Carlin.
Exactly. These ADHD ass comedians don't fukked the game up.

There's more to comedy than...

When white people pay their bills, they be like here you go sir and they skip their happy asses out the door. *Does exaggerated white Man skip*

But my nikkas! When weee pay our bills, we be like "let me put a little something on it til next week."

Man there's more to comedy than that. Chappelle is one of the Goat's... that's all.

Ok and.....???

I quoted your reply an re-emphasized my point. He did stand up but wasn't a huge comedian in the 90's he did shows, he had HBO specials and a few cameos in movies.

His big break, his headline of the 90's was half baked which wasn't well received by black people, hell critics thought it sucked but stoners and white people loved it.

It wasn't until killin them softly that he got that big break that was recognized by black people, he was able to ride that wave until the Chappelle show and solidify it with his other special at the time. Everyone has always known Dave has tons of white friends particularly John Mayer. But people look at the fact that he's a recluse and works extensively with other black people and uses sometimes uses comedy as social commentary that he's some sort of militant.

He's trippin but there are a lot of bougie ass Chapelle fans out there who think you have to have a certain level of 'intelligence' :mjpls::mjpls: to appreciate his shyt.

I can appreciate a Katt Williams standup as much as a Chappell one. It don't gotta be one sided
It's the other way around actually. Y'all acting like a black comic has to tap dance and act like sambo to be representative of the black community. That's the most c00nish and cartoonish form do comedy. Literally doing the same act as 1920's blackface comedians.

Katt Williams? We really gotta dress like and talking pimping to be funny? Straight up 70s blaxploitation status.
